Michelle Fischer

As a young girl, each year I would create a detailed scale model of my bedroom inside a shoebox, then spend the rest of my time talking my very patient mom, also an artist, into helping me bring those ideas into my real room. Over time, my love for interior design always remained. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University, I stumbled upon my first job creating simple furniture layouts at a local furniture store. I quickly realized that role was the beginning of my dream career, and the rest was history. I poured myself into learning drafting, interior architecture, construction, project management, material sourcing, and procurement, all of the tools I needed to grow as a designer. Early in my career, I had the chance to learn from and work with amazing mentors on hotels, condominiums, luxury homes, and restaurants. Starting at the bottom was never a problem for me, I thrived absorbing new skills, exploring different design approaches, and using my psychology background to better understand what clients were looking for. 

Along the way, I found a special connection to residential design, where I found a deep passion for helping my clients' wildest visions go from dirt lots and ideas, to award-winning custom dream homes. I have been incredibly lucky to work with Southwest Florida’s top design-build firm, and wonderful clients who value innovation, technology, and creating one-of-a-kind spaces that elevate their lifestyle in every way. My experience and style allow me to create a design process that feels effortless, empowering, and fully tailored to each client, resulting in spaces as exceptional as the people who live in them.
